The superb steam scenes from the 1960s filmed by Geoff Holyoake are now available in previously unseen detail – digitally re-mastered, enhanced and up-scaled. See these wonderfully improved and re-worked full colour programmes as never before and enjoy steam across the south of England in stunning clarity

The last years of steam on British Railways have been well documented. Geoff Holyoake was one of the small elite who used 16mm film rather than 8mm, producing films for commercial sale. He recorded the last days of steam, filming the King Arthurs, Charlies and Bulleid Pacifics as well as some of the final examples of the pre-grouping engines that worked here. Filming locations include: Waterloo, Clapham Junction, Kensington Olympia, the South Western Main Line and the Isle of Wight.
